If you aren’t familiar with the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain, luckily there are a few well-made films and documentaries about it. Here are my favorite Camino films, along with a few that are on my must-see list.
The Way – Starring Martin Sheen & Emilio Estevez
Walking the Camino: Six Ways to Santiago
El Camino a Santiago – Paulo Coelho
Must-see Camino Films (to be released):
Wayfaring – (A Jaunt along the Camino de Santiago)
Beyond the Way

PS: I am happy to report that last week’s featured blogger, Beth Lind Foote, just posted about finishing her Camino 3.0. Take a look at My last day of walking the Camino: The Long Story.
For once I can actually say that I saw the first movie on Netflix! It was quite interesting!

Marquessa, Glad you enjoyed “The Way.” It has introduced the Camino to many people since its release in 2011, and I heard many people say that it made them want to do the pilgrimage.

Apart from Anthony’s “Beyond the Way” series, I would recommend Wayfaring..A Jaunt along the Camino. http://www.squatchfilms.com/wayfaring—a-jaunt-along-the-camino-de-santiago.html.
