St. James Day Presentation with Alexander Shaia

Good day, pilgrims. I am pleased to announce the Northern California 3rd annual St. James Day presentation on Saturday, July 25th at 11:00 AM (PDT).  This year, guest speaker Alexander Shaia joins us via Zoom for a thought-provoking topic:

Whether an Outer Pilgrimage or an Inner One – St James Leads the Way

Every pilgrimage, as well as life journey, brings us four essential questions.

How do we face change?
How do we move through suffering?
How do we receive joy and know its meaning?
How do we mature in service?

On this Feast of St. James, we will mine his life to remember the promise and lessons we experience with each of the four questions as walk both an outer and an inner pilgrimage.

He has been in quarantine in Spain since March due to the Coronavirus, so he will be presenting from Muxia, Spain. He has graciously offered to donate a copy of book, Returning From Camino, a poster, and remembrance bands for a drawing at the end of the presentation.

Alexander’s most recent book, Returning From Camino, is the first book to address the spiritual and psychological needs of a pilgrim upon returning home.  For more information on Alexander’s life and work, see www.Quadratos.com
