Inspired to Give

Hello all! I’m happy to share another guest post by peregrina, hospitalera, and best-selling author, Karin Kiser.

Inspired to give
By Karin Kiser

The current global situation has inspired many people to rethink or reprioritize their lives. Some have taken up projects or creative pursuits they had been meaning to get to for years. Others decluttered their homes, donated unnecessary items to charity or reached out to support their neighbors or community.

Last fall, I created the pro-bono Power of One Project to demonstrate how one person can positively impact the world. One of the intentions was to fund 3000 new trees using book sale proceeds and donations. As of this writing, 1572 new trees will be planted around the world. Woo hoo!

I have also found great joy during these challenging times by engaging in random acts of kindness – from a simple smile or kind remark to large service gratuities and book giveaways. So this month, I am inspired to offer my two books Your Inner Camino and After the Camino at huge discounts.

Your Inner Camino and After the Camino guidebooks on saleJust before the start of the pandemic, I was traveling around the US and Spain giving workshops about the transformational power of a long-distance walk and the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage routes. The constant travel combined with moving warehouses means I have a stack of those books with very slightly scuffed covers. If you don’t mind a scuff or two, those copies will be available at 65% off through June 30 or while supplies last. You might even get a copy that has been with me on the Camino! If interested, go to www.CaminoChroniclesPress.com and enter promo code “saver65” during checkout.
